Founded in 1918, Lamastus Family Estates includes the iconic Elida Estate, located high on the slopes of Volcán Barú National Park. Surrounded by cloud forest, the farm benefits from cool temperatures, constant mist, and unique microclimates that allow the coffee to ripen slowly and develop remarkable density and complexity.
Panama Elida Estate Catuai Reserva Natural ASD (10.9oz)
Tasting Notes: Lavender, prune, red wine, blueberry muffin.
Harvested at peak ripeness, this lot is processed with an anaerobic slow-dry method: whole cherries ferment in a sealed tank for five days, then dry slowly on raised beds for roughly 45 to 60 days. This extended, gentle drying deepens complexity and clarity, often expressing dark fruit notes with a lively, sparkling acidity.
Panama Elida Estate Vuelta Gesha Washed DRD (4oz)
Tasting Notes: Hibiscus, grapefruit, sweet plum, crisp acidity.
Vuelta is the highest-elevation plot on Panama’s renowned Elida Estate in Boquete, where Gesha is grown at roughly 1,950 meters. Finished in Elida’s Dark Room Drying (DRD) facility, this coffee is slow-dried under precisely controlled temperature and humidity to ensure even drying and deliver exceptional clarity and concentration.
Fun fact: The Lamastus family has earned 1st place at Best of Panama in 2016, 2018, 2019, and 2024!

Santa Lucia is a farm run by Fincas Mierisch in Comayagua, Honduras. Established in 2014, it was revived from near-abandoned conditions and is now dedicated to cultivating exotic and heirloom varieties.
The Casona plot, meaning “Big House,” is Santa Lucia’s first Gesha planting. Planted in 2014 using Gesha seed sourced from Francisco Serracin of Panama’s Don Pachi Estate, this lot shows a distinctly floral, delicate profile with berry-like character. Triángulo, planted in 2018 from the same seed stock, is often compared to Casona for its brighter, more citric and fruity cup profile
Cherries for this lot were picked on April 11, 2025 at peak ripeness, then floated, depulped, and dry-fermented for 36 hours before washing. Drying was completed slowly on raised beds in a 50% shade greenhouse over 16 days, then rested as parchment to stabilize before milling at Cadexsa.
Fun Fact: The Casona plot has been a Cup of Excellence standout, earning 1st place in Honduras in both 2019 and 2021 with washed Gesha.
